Tamuna had a show

More than 15 years ago, Tamuna had a show at her art academy in Tbilissi. She was hardly 19 and these are all her teachers, posing proudly, with Tamuna’s mother, while she was only entitled a little corner of the picture. Since then, nothing much changed in the art academy, and the old teachers are still there, except for those who have died.
A few years later Tamuna went to the Rietveld art academy in Amsterdam, and the rest is history…

The paintings she made as a teenager are still proudly hanging in her grandmother’s kitchen.
